About the Role

RiskAdvisor is seeking an ambitious 1099 Business Development Rep to book qualified demos and source new opportunities. This role is commission-only, with both per-demo incentives and deal commission upside.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and book qualified demos with ICP-aligned leads.
  • Ensure high-quality meetings that convert to pipeline.
  • Partner with Account Executives to hand off strong opportunities.

Compensation

  • Tiered Demo Bonus (retroactive accelerators):
    • 1–5 demos: $50 each
    • 6–10 demos: $75 each (all demos that month reprice to $75)
    • 11–20 demos: $100 each (all demos that month reprice to $100)
    • 21+ demos: $150 each (all demos that month reprice to $150)
  • 5% commission on closed deals sourced. Paid monthly as revenue is collected.

Examples:

Example 1:

4 Demos in a Month

  • Tier: 1–5 demos → $50 each
  • Demo Bonus = 4 × $50 = $200
  • Expected Deals = 20% × 4 = 0.8 ≈ 1 deal
  • Deal Commission = 1 × $4,000 × 5% = $200
  • Total = $400
Example 2:

9 Demos in a Month

  • Tier: 6–10 demos → $75 each (retroactive)
  • Demo Bonus = 9 × $75 = $675
  • Expected Deals = 20% × 9 = 1.8 ≈ 2 deals
  • Deal Commission = 2 × $4,000 × 5% = $400
  • Total = $1,075
Example 3:

15 Demos in a Month

  • Tier: 11–20 demos → $100 each (retroactive)
  • Demo Bonus = 15 × $100 = $1,500
  • Expected Deals = 20% × 15 = 3 deals
  • Deal Commission = 3 × $4,000 × 5% = $600
  • Total = $2,100
Example 4:

25 Demos in a Month

  • Tier: 21+ demos → $150 each (retroactive)
  • Demo Bonus = 25 × $150 = $3,750
  • Expected Deals = 20% × 25 = 5 deals
  • Deal Commission = 5 × $4,000 × 5% = $1,000
  • Total = $4,750
