About the Role

We’re looking for a driven 1099 Account Executive to join RiskAdvisor and own the closing of new business. This is a commission-only role with uncapped earnings potential — perfect for a hunter who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full sales cycle from demo to close.
  • Drive new ARR by converting qualified pipeline into customers.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and guide them through buying decisions.

Compensation

  • 20% commission on first-year ARR for every deal closed.
  • 50% paid upfront upon customer’s first payment.
  • 50% paid monthly over the first 12 months as long as the customer is active.
  • Uncapped earnings potential.

Example: Close a $1,200 MRR ($14.4K ARR) deal = $2,880 commission.

AE Self-Sourced Demo Incentive (Add-On)

  • Per Demo Attended (self-sourced):
    • Flat $50 per qualified demo attended (no tiered retroactive — keep it simple).
  • Deal Commission: Unchanged — 20% of ARR (50% upfront + 50% monthly drip).

Rules:

  • Demo must be self-sourced (no BDR or affiliate help).
  • Must fit the same Qualified Demo definition (ICP fit + attended).
  • Demo payout is in addition to deal commission if it closes.

💡 Example:

  • AE books 5 of their own demos → 5 × $50 = $250.
  • Closes 1 deal at $12K ARR → $2,400 commission.
  • Total = $2,650.
