Once an Agent, Always an Agent

I renewed my insurance license today.

I don’t plan on using it again… but at 33, you never really know.
(What I do know is I never want to take that exam again 😅)

I renewed it for a couple reasons:

1️⃣ I’ll always be an insurance agent.
This industry changed my life and my family’s.
I’ll forever be grateful for the opportunities, the people, and the life it’s provided.

2️⃣ I’m now 20+ months removed from the last policy I wrote.
(I wish I remembered who and what it was.)
Renewing my license doesn’t exactly connect me to the day-to-day anymore, but it keeps me close to what agents experience and that still matters to me.

There are plenty more reasons why I renewed, but those two say it best.

Just know this: what you do for your customers matters.
Every frustrating moment, every tough renewal, every market challenge.
It all matters!

And if you’re in this business, you’ve got an opportunity to build a life most people only dream about.
